‘Aristocat’ is a 50’ Trad-Stern Narrowboat built c1991 by Chapel & White Boatbuilders of Macclesfield. Engine is a BMC 1.8 litre diesel, driving through a PRM gearbox. A satisfactory hull survey was carried out in June 2012, and is available for inspection at our offices. Boat Safety Certificate is valid until 13 May 2017.

‘Kettlewell’ is a venerable old 55’ Cruiser Stern Narrowboat. She was built c1978 by Randall Boats in Yorkshire – they used to be nicknamed ‘Randall Rammers’ due to the prominent bow. ‘Jack’ is a 30’ tug-style narrowboat with a trad stern, built to a 6’9” gauge, and drawing a nominal 2’. She was built in the early 1970s by Albert Watson on the Macclesfield Canal, not a million miles from where these pictures were taken.
