Actief is a magnificent barge! This motor klipper has all the features of a little ship and the hull design allows her to better withstand rough water. She is equipped with just about every navigation aid you could wish for the big rivers and waterways of Europe. In fact, she has a licence to navigate the River Rhine and is equipped to those very high standards. She handles like a dream and has a very powerful 360 degree bow thrust. This is an iron barge that I inspected whilst on the slipway. There is no overplating and the hull is in very good condition, with a good survey.
