50 ft x 14ft PURPOSE BUILT WIDE BEAM NARROW BOAT.
The vessel was completed in 2005 to be used as a residential static houseboat but with the added valuable benefit of being easily commissioned to a powered boat.
Sturdily constructed, by an experienced yard, of steel (believed 8mm hull with 6mm topsides) the vessel will happily take ground so is suitable for all types of static berth or alternatively will take an engine to produce a truly luxurious cruiser.
Services:
240V mains, mains water take off, waste tank with deck discharge pump, gas boiler for hot water and full central heating. The boat is fully wired and plumbed and has been comfortably lived aboard for the past 3 years.
THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES OF:
Large aft deck with companionway leading onto laminate floor, radiator.
Aft Cabin:
Radiator, double bed. Built-in wardrobe with mirrored doors, access to storage space under aft deck. Laminate floor.
Bathroom:
Domestic bath and washbasin, toilet with saniflo macerator pump to holding tank. Gas boiler over bath. Radiator.
Galley:
Light and airy with double aspect windows.
Fitted units that provide ample storage space. L shaped work surface with ceramic sink and drainer, fridge-freezer and freestanding cooker (incl hob + grill).
All appliances are included in the sale price.
Radiator and laminate floor.
Saloon:
Laminate floor, 2 radiators, TV aerial. Open-plan area with plenty of space for domestic furniture. The saloon feels cosy with its portholes on both sides and lots of light timber. Plenty of storage space under the steps that lead to the forward companionway with double doors onto the large forward deck.
Outside:
The forward and aft decks are ideal for summer time lounging, storing your bikes, whatever takes your fancy. Atop the main cabin there are grabrails running the length of the vessel with narrow sidedecks running fore-aft. Ample sun-bathing space on the voluminous cabin top.
Currently the vessel is painted with black hull and racing green topsides.
The photos were taken in 2006/07 when the boat was lifted onto its current mooring (please note that I have just had the two wooden windows in the kitchen replaced with metal windows that match the portholes). The boat has been lived aboard since then so will benefit from a fresh coat of paint throughout, but otherwise she is a very sound boat who will serve the purchaser well.
I will be removing the boat from its mooring in the second week of January and she will be available to be taken away from that date.
The boat is very competitively priced for a quick sale at £30,000 with first sensible offer accepted. |
