| Marinas & Moorings: For Sale: Mooring Whiterock SLYC Strangford Lough |

I have for sale a swing mooring in a prime location at Strangford Lough Yacht Club, Whiterock, Strangford Lough. The mooring is lying approximately 30 yards off the pontoon at Strangford Lough Yacht Club SLYC. Moorings like this in this location are very hard to get as they are so close to the Yacht Club so would therefore be perfect for a member of SLYC, however there is a public slipway in the close vacinity which is free to use if you did not want to use the club. It was used for my boat but I no longer need it as I have moved to another Club. The boat I had on the mooring was a 23ft Motor Sailer at approx 2.5 - 3 tons with a draft of 1.5m approx, although at low tide there would be at least 2-4m depth. I have marked the picture to try to let you get an idea of where the mooring is in relation to the SLYC (RHS of pic) and the public slip (LHS of pic). The mooring was checked a few years ago and I checked the chain again recently and can only say that all looks good. I would recommend a new Stuoy and hand buoy just for peace of mind apart from that it would be good to go. I have listed it at £750 but I would be open to reasonable offers. This mooring is in the port of Alcudia on the north east of the island.
Alcudiamar in one of the most attractive and safest marinas in Mallorca.
The marina has 24/7 security and Marineros in attendance to help you moor, is accessed by electronic cards which also allow entry to the pontoons, toilets and showers. There is free car parking for berth holders.
The marina has all services, Travel lift, Hard standing, Chandlers, Boat repairs Sail makers etc. along with cafés bars, shop and a 4 star hotel.
Alcudia is within easy sailing of all the ports on the east of the island i.e. Port of Pollensa, C'an Picafort, Calla Rajada, Porto Cristo etc. and only 30 nautical miles from Minorca.
The port of Alcudia has a great sandy beach extending round the bay for about 10km along with good restaurants tapas bar, boutiques, other shops and hotels. There is a good bus service all over the island.
We are selling this mooring at a competitive price due to advancing age.

A 45' residential mooring for sale on one of the most scenic stretches of the tidal Thames in West London.
The mooring offers unprecedented and uninterrupted views of the Thames - looking downstream towards Syon Park and up river to Richmond Half Lock. The mooring is aways in water and at low tide has at least 4' of water.
The marina is a private company wholly-owned by the boat owners. The purchase of the mooring provides shares in the company. The current share holding provided the rights to moor a 45' (length) boat. The company would need to approve any boat coming onto the mooring and on this pontoon the boat needs to be a 'going' boat. Each mooring has electricity, water and telephone services.
Photo 1 - is the view down the river from the mooring with Isleworth Ait just out of view on the left river bank and on the right bank is Old Deer Park with the tow path. In the distance is the beginning of Syon Reach by the London Apprentice Pub.

The marina has great access by water, road and rail. It is just off the M3, not far from the A4 Great West Road leading into London or out to Heathrow and the M4. It's on good bus routes and within walking distance to St Margarets Main Line to Waterloo. A slightly longer walk will take you into Richmond town centre and the station with the District Line and as well as the Main Line services into Waterloo. |
