All steel traditional stern narrowboat from P.J.Taylor Fabrications Ltd. Steel front and rear doors, cratchboard and cover.
Spring Heel Jack is pleasantly fitted out in a very traditional style incorporating many traditional design features such as solid brass portholes, pigeon box and a bullseye roof light. The interior is fitted out using beautifully patinated pitch pine, quartersawn douglas fir and mahogany. The accomodation is well designed to give maximum space in the cabin, from the stern you enter the galley which has Valor gas cooker, Lec fridge, and a Candy washing machine. There are wall and floor cupboars and a large full height pantry. The bathroom contains a fully tiled shower enclosure with a vanity unit and a porta potti casstte loo. The forward saloon has an L shaped dinette which converts into a double bed. There is stained glass pannels and a solid fule stove. There are front doors that led to a goo sized well deck. Re conditioned gear box fitted in oct 09, recent boat survey with record of work carried out, sept 09. Hull re-blacked out of water. |
