Introducing Hunky Dory, a brand-new boat built in the popular reverse style layout. Extremely well equipped with well thought out additions from the stern to the bow.

Starting from the rear we have a wraparound cruiser stern. Below the deck boards you will find a Beta Marine 50hp engine enclosed in its super silent acoustic housing along with a hospital silencer. This is paired with a PRM gearbox and to aid handling there is the addition of a hydraulic bow thruster.

Hot water onboard comes from the 75 litre Calorifier/Immersion. There is underfloor central heating throughout the boat. And this is provided by the Eberspacher diesel heater. In addition, there is a Refleks diesel stove nestled in the saloon.

With a host of electric systems onboard Hunky Dory has everything you could want or need. There are 240v hookup points at both the bow and stern for easy mooring. A collection of batteries, 1x starter & 8x 110Ah for leisure (the leisure batteries are neatly arranged under the rear steps). In addition, there is a Victron Quattro 5kw inverter/charger linked to an Electrolux 3.5kva Travel Power generator. If that wasn’t enough, you will also find 840w of semi flexible solar panels on custom made fully tiltable aluminium frames. A Victron MPPT controller links the solar array to the boats electrical system.

Hunky Dory boasts a built-in tracking system, built in WiFi, USB sockets throughout, independent touch and remote-controlled lighting including under gunnel lighting, well & rear deck floor lighting, overhead lighting within the cratch and external LED lights to light the tow path to guide you home.

You enter the galley from the stern via a pair of solid oak, double glazed stable doors. The galley itself offers a full range of handcrafted solid oak cupboards with flush handles so as to avoid catching oneself. All drawers have dovetailed detailing and concealed soft close slides. There are a whole host of premium appliances including a Smeg gas oven with grill, separate Smeg gas hob above and an externally vented Smeg extraction hood. Also included is a built-in low level Smeg microwave oven and combi grill, Smeg dishwasher and Belling Washer/Dryer. A Shoreline 12v extra wide fridge with icebox completes the list of appliances. There is a built-in floor wine cooler and handy step storage.

Accommodation on board is arranged over five berths with a pull-out King size bed in the main bedroom complete with custom made and folding (unused) mattress from Edwardian Bedding of Shrewsbury. The dinette converts into a standard double bed and the L-shaped seating area within the saloon can be made into a single berth. The dinette backrest is hinged so that the saloon seating can be made more comfortable.

Continuing through the solid oak stable doors you come to the walkthrough shower room. Here you will find the bespoke built large, enclosed shower with built in seat, the Cinderella gas incinerating toilet and vanity basin with solid oak cupboards below and above. A further base cupboard provides additional storage. The heated towel rail completes the shower room.

Again, solid oak stable doors lead you into the bedroom. The bedroom as mentioned offers an extendable king size bed, a large built-in wardrobe, vanity drawers and cupboard above. There are individual concealed reading lights within the front bulkhead.

A feature double glazed solid oak window and portside stable door lead into the well deck where you can find a 2 ply cratch cover with PVC window and roll up black out outer. Here the built in and fold away solid oak table will allow you to enjoy the outdoors.

All walls and ceilings throughout the boat offer a mix of painted oak faced ply and/or handcrafted and complimentary painted solid ash wood tongue & groove. The shower room and bedroom wardrobes, drawers and cupboards have a complimentary painted front.

From the touch lighting controls upon entrance at the stern to the feature double glazed solid oak windows and door leading onto the well deck, Hunky Dory has everything you could want for live aboard cruising with expertly crafted woodwork throughout.

Hunky Dory was blacked in October 2022 with a BSC valid until October 2026.

When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.

This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.

We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
