Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Beluga, a Luxemotor, offering comfortable accommodation with the benefit of being an optimum cruising size.
Entrance is through the wheelhouse which houses the navigational area, with traditional equipment in keeping with the classic interior look. This large area offers panoramic views, and can be used as a dining area or second lounge.
Stairs lead forward down to a cosy lounge area, with galley that has plenty of storage space. A door leads through to a comfortable double cabin, and another leads through to the shower room with shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin.
Another stairway leads back from the wheelhouse to a large double cabin, again with plenty of storage and a wash basin, with room available to fit another shower cubicle and toilet if so required.
The boat has 2 metres of headroom throughout, and has 10 radiators fired by a Kabola diesel boiler.
The engine room, again with 2 metres of headroom, houses the 8 cylinder 120hp Gardner engine, boiler, work area and master volt system, the boat is wired for 24v and 220v.
There is a 50hp bow thruster, and a tender with 8hp outboard, raised and lowered by a davit behind the wheelhouse. The deck space is ample, with a good sized area in front of the wheelhouse ideal for a table and chairs to enjoy some alfresco dining on the long summer nights.
Beluga is now somewhat of a project, with an external paint needed, together with an internal refresh and update. the kerosene boiler together with the engine will need servicing as neither has been run of late, it is highly likely a new bank of batteries will also be needed. However, she is a beautiful looking boat with plenty of usable space both inside and outside, and her size means she is economical to run as a home with regards to ongoing costs. She is wider than traditional craft of this length as she was shortened in Holland in the 1990's, thus offering more living space than is usual. She was last drydocked in 2018 and offers huge potential and has been priced accordingly.
