Repertor II is a beautiful 1939 Luxe Motor Dutch barge, offering the combination of historic character, generous living space and modern comforts. At just over 30 metres in length with a width of over 5 metres, she provides an exceptionally spacious and light-filled home while retaining the elegant lines that make Luxe Motors so sought after.
Lovingly restored and carefully maintained over several decades, Repertor II is in excellent condition. She was last dry docked in 2024, when she underwent a comprehensive out-of-water survey. All recommended works were completed, the hull was professionally coated in epoxy paint, and new anodes were fitted. As a result, she is not expected to require dry docking again until 2034.
Repertor II has been moored in Bristol Harbour for over 40 years, and I have owned and lived aboard her over the past 10. The previous owner carried out an extensive restoration, preserving many of her original features while completing significant structural work to a very high standard. During my ownership, I have continued that approach, working alongside experienced boat builders and skilled craftsmen to create a unique and comfortable floating home.
Before purchasing Repertor II, I restored and lived aboard a narrowboat as a continuous cruiser for many years, so every improvement has been made with practical boating experience in mind. The result is a barge that is both beautiful and highly functional for full-time living.
