We are now selling our much loved Dutch Tjalk which has been a restoration project for the past 7 years. Vrouwe Classina Jacoba (Nick named - Rosie). We have spent over £10K on hull welding renewing sections of the Hull under 5mm as deemed necessary by the 2021/2 survey. The master bedroom is 95% complete and the Heads/ bathroom has a basin and electric toilet and a shower which only needs a surround to finish it as then can be used. The living area has been foam insulated but at this time the panelling has not been undertaken. The Galley has is usable. The exterior paint work which wa scompleted in 2019 has now deteriorated and needs to be recoated. The tanks include a 150 litre feeder tank for the engine and two diesel tanks with a capacity of c2500 litres that carry a large supply of diesel. There are 2 water tanks with an approximate capacity of 1000 litres. Boat electrics are managed through a Victron system with 6 new 220 amp hour AGM batteries. There is also mains provision manged through a circuit breaker box. The engine is a DAF 545 and has recently been in use for a 275 Kilometre trip form North Holland. Steering is via a Tiller which is well balanced. There is a Bow thruster but this is currently waiting for a new set of batteries which we have put on hold. There is a summer cover and a winter cover and skylight covers. I am currently handling this sail due to my husband's health issues - My name is Penny. Please let me know if you need any additional information that I can help with. The barge is currently located in the Maastricht area in the Netherlands.
