Beneteau First 211S - 2003 Model with Mercury 9.9hp Four Stroke Outboard (2024) and RM Twin Axle Trailer.

Called Margarita. The model is referred to as a pocket rocket, which we used as a safe family cruiser. Lived most of its life on the Norfolk Broads before coming to Devon.

UPDATE. Outboard professionally serviced and a fresh Antifoul applied, ready for 2025.

A little-known fact is that these boats can dry out occasionally, either resting on the side or using back rudders to stabilise.

Well-equipped and looked after compact 4-berth cruiser/racer based in South Devon - stored on land on trailer.

Sails replaced in 2018 / 2019 with Jeckells main and fore sail complete with brand new 2023 and lazy jacks and Main Mate sail cover. Sails were inspected and laundered 2023).

Bought in 2023 and used for summer 2024. Moving abroad next year, so our loss is your gain!

A full independent survey for 2023 is available on request, and you are welcome to complete your own at your own cost.

Mercury 9.9hp FourStroke Outboard (Long Shaft) 2024 10 hours of usage.
Reliable and powerful 4-stroke engine, perfectly matched for the Beneteau First 211 — especially in tidal waters.

While a 5hp engine can be used on this boat, I was advised to fit the 9.9hp long shaft for better performance and peace of mind when navigating tidal areas, strong currents, or when extra power is needed (e.g. against wind and tide).
