Rarely available ‘owners’ version Beneteau Oceanis 351, offering a great balance of luxurious accommodation and with a long waterline length and wide beam, provides a stable and solid performance ideal for either longer distance cruising or a weekend away with a group of friends and family.
Launched in 1995 and has been owned by her current owner since 2016, Varende is a rarely available two cabin version, with 1.9m headroom providing a spacious saloon with a further double berth with the benefit of the convertible saloon table that offers accommodation for up to six. She has recently had a new Beta 30 diesel engine, new standing rigging and mostly new running rigging. Professional Keel bolt inspection in 2023 highlighted no issues.
She is currently afloat on the Swale at Conyer, North Kent and her fin keel configuration ensures that she has a very sea-kindly performance.
In 2025 Varende underwent a refit:
• Hull stripped and antifouled
• New anode fitted
• New Beta Marine Beta 30 (29hp) heat exchanger cooled engine
• New RH E13 3 Blade propeller and propshaft
• New cutlass bearing
• New Standing rigging
• New main, topping lift, genoa and spinnaker halyards
• Mast serviced, all wiring examined and replaced as required
• LED Interior lighting installed
• New Jabsco freshwater pump
