Launched in 2003 and in current ownership since 2005. Pipistrelle is fully equipped and ready for immediate use. Unused and stored undercover indoors since 2016. From 2006 to 2016 used for 2 weeks each year on the Scottish West Coast and Inner Hebrides. Pipistrelle has been very lightly used and well cared for; now after a boatbuilder refit, she is recommissioned in sparkling condition and fully equipped for coastal, estuary and river cruising.
Designed by Dudley Dix the Cape Cutter 19 is a safe, swift and capable small ship that will see you home safely in a variety of conditions. CE category C (inshore and coastal waters wave height 2 m wind F6) The CC19 has a well deserved reputation as one of the fastest small gaffers in the world. A well balanced delight to sail with sail options for all conditions, with 300 kg of internal lead ballast and a 100 kg swinging keel. Also ideal for drying harbours and estuaries or beach visits - lift the keel, take the ground and step ashore.

Well varnished Oregon Pine mast, gaff, boom and bowsprit. New Collars mast in 2008 and all standing rigging replaced and upgraded. All original deck gear replaced with heavy duty jammers and Spinlock sheet clutches. Bronze sheet winches. Winch handle. Treadmaster applied from cockpit to mast to improve safety. Tiller fitted with ‘Tiller Mate’. Red ensign on varnished jackstaff. New anchor, anchor chain and fitted bow roller. Fenders and dock lines. Spare shrouds and forestay.
Honda 6hp smooth running 2 cylinder 4stroke engine. Easy start, quiet, powerful and fully serviced. Fitted with a high thrust prop and a 12volt charging circuit. With the keel up Pipistrelle will motor at 5-6 kts at half throttle. New long-range fuel tank, new fuel lines and priming pump.

Trailer fully serviced with new wheel bearings, bearing seals and new brake linings. Spare sets of wheel bearings, seals and brake linings included. Bradley double lock trailer hitch fitted for automatic reversing. Heavy duty Falken tyres and spare.
