Cheverton Champ 18’ Motor Boat with cuddy and covered wheelhouse. Solid construction with bilge keels. Perkins 4236 diesel inboard engine with shaft drive to a large 3 bladed propeller. Excellent starter / runner. This vessel was re-engined in the 1990’s by a previous owner. Extensive service undertaken last year by local marine workshop. 2 x new 100Ah batteries (2023). New fuel/air filters 2024. New marine ply cockpit floor (2023). Hull stripped, primed and 2 coats of anti fouling applied & anodes changed (2024). Stern gland re-packed and greased (2024). New impeller (2024). A lovely solid seaworthy boat which comes with a 2024 Auxiliary 5hp outboard with removable bracket.

Comments:

This boat is a solid seaworthy boat ideally suited as a day boat, fishing boat, club boat, launch. Very good condition. The main engine starts on the button and runs well. Plenty of power and economical to run. This boat has been regularly maintained with copies of bills and previous history / photographic records available. Currently moored in Chatham Maritime Marina. Mooring can be taken on by new owner at their cost. Alternatively, I can arrange a lift out onto the new owners trailer/transport. Cost of lift out is not included in the purchase price. A reluctant sale.
