Vintage wooden river/canal cruiser.
Her name is Esrina ll.
Her dimensions are approximately 25 ft long by 8 ft 6 in wide.
Believe it is from the late sixties, early seventies.
Lots of work done already. Some work still required.
Acquired her around two years ago from eBay as a project. Worked on her for around eight months then involved in a road traffic accident which damaged my back and neck.
Have tried working on the boat since but I am very restricted and have made the painful decision to sell.
The boat is located in BLUEPOINT marina boat yard in Liverpool.
Beautiful looking boat with lots of attractive features.
The whole cabin roof and sides slide back like a cabriolet.
Galley has 12/240volt fridge. Sink and drainer with hot/cold running water. Gas cooker and burners. Lots and lots of storage.
Bathroom. Toilet, wash basin, electric shower.
Bedroom has a three quarter bed( 4 ft x 6 ft 3 in ). Brand new quality mattress, still in it's wrappings. Under bed storage. 12 volt hot air blower.
Cabin has Pullman style dining table and seating for four.
New curtains throughout.
New carpeting throughout.
Work done. Outside.
The biggest job was the hull.
The original tar blacking was completely removed with hot air blowers and scrappers.
All the old sealant and caulking was removed.
A couple of wood repairs were professionally completed by a qualified carpenter.
The hull was then re caulked, sealed with Marine sealant and given five coats of blacking.
Part of the above water sealant has been removed and replaced.
Work done. Inside.
New starter battery and three new leisure batteries fitted.
Comes with a 1000 watt pure sine inverter.
Would recommend a 2000 or preferably 3000watt inverter.
Electrical control panel in the engine compartment.
Hot cold water controller.
Lots of work done in the bathroom including new flush toilet. The toilet has a collection tank below that can be pumped out from the outside.
New sink unit and wall lining.
Engine.
The original engine is in place. It is a Morris "Vedette" Marine Engine. It's capacity is 1000cc. It is based on the Morris Minor engine. A mechanic has had the engine running.
New plugs and filters fitted.
Electrics.
An electrician has checked all the wiring. He wasn't the best so would recheck.
12 volt lighting throughout.
240 volt wall sockets in galley, berth and cabin.
Work still required, I am sure you will find more.
Outside.
Roof needs repainting, sealing.
Above water sealant needs removing and replacing. Partially done.
Would benefit from being revarnished.
Some brass work requires refitting. All brass work is present.
Inside
Fuel tank and pipework requires flushing. Fuel pump requires replacing. New pump already purchased.
Fresh water tank requires flushing.
Recheck electrics.
Sump pumps require wiring and piping up.
Floor boarding is a little uneven. May be ok when screwed down or may need replacing.
I am sure there are more you will find to do. These jobs are what I am aware of.
I highly recommend viewing. Please contact me if you wish to view at your leisure.
The cruiser is for sale strictly " sold as seen".
I have been honest in my assessment of the cruiser.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or require more information or pictures.
Thank you for looking.
