Reference: | 2157 Running Late |
Running Late is a sweet 47’ 6” trad stern narrowboat built in 1997 by Colecraft, and fitted out by J& S Pendred. She has been well looked after, benefiting from a blacking in June 2025 along with 4 new anodes, and repainted gunwales too!
The cratch covered well deck is large at 5’4” with bench seat lockers either side, and a freestanding comfy chair here too. The 454L stainless steel water tank is housed below.
Steps lead down into the 11’6” saloon, with a small sofa bed (converts to a single or very cosy double), Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove, captains chair, cupboard and a fold out table with shelves behind. There is room to swap this sofa bed out for a larger double if required.
Next is the horseshoe galley (7’0”), with laminate worktops, stainless steel sink, Vanette 4 burner gas hob, Vanette oven & grill, Naiko 12v fridge, and a range of cupboards, shelves and a drawer for storage. A starboard side hatch brings in additional light and fresh air.
The off-corridor 6’0” bathroom features a square shower with laminate surround and curtain across, Thetford cassette loo, and plastic wash basin recessed into a decent sized cupboard.
A full height single wardrobe sits in the corridor, before heading to the 6’6” bedroom. The fixed double is 6’6” x 4’0” with a shelf over the head end, large cupboard over the foot end, and drawers under.
Steps lead into the 3’6” engine room, with another cupboard for storage and the boat electrics. The Beta 35hp engine is housed below (last serviced in April 2024 with very few cruising hours since).
Another step leads out onto the 3’8” trad stern deck.
12v power is supplied by 3x 115ah domestics with a separate starter. 240v power is via a Victron Multiplus Compact 2000w inverter/charger, or landline hookup.
Hot water is supplied by the engine or immersion, and lighting on board is halogen throughout.
She is well equipped for extended cruising or liveaboard life, and comes with all the relevant navigation equipment to just turn the key and go!
