Coventrain is a 72’ narrow boat commissioned as purpose-built restaurant boat in 1993. Built by Colecraft Engineering (Long Itchington) and professionally fitted out, the hull and superstructure are welded steel. The engine is a Lister Beta Marine with a hydraulic gearbox.
Accommodation includes: seating 20 or 38 in a buffet style, kitchen and bar are and separate male and female toilets.
Between 2008 and 2019 boat was operated for school trips providing ecological, water-based lessons by the Living Environment Trust. The boat has not been used since 2019 and does not have a current Boat Safety Certificate. The engine is free, however, it will require new batteries to start on its own.
