Two bedroom floating apartment fitted and finished to a very high standard, packed with original features and optimised for continuous cruising with six solar panels, Dometic TravelPower generator and WaterFreedom water filtration system.
Entering the boat through the stern doors, down three steel chequer plate faced steps, you come into the main living area. consisting of seating area, dining area and kitchen.
The seating area faces the Morso Squirrel multifuel stove and 12v TV. There are two large cupboards either side of the steps, each with double doors, housing the washing machine, Dometic TravelPower, Victron 3kw inverter, Outback solar controller plus plenty of space left for vacuum cleaner, coats, tools, etc
The dining area has space for a large table big enough to seat eight when placed perpendicular to the cabin sides or 10 if turned parallel.
The kitchen has a Belling double oven, Smeg hob, Bosch dishwasher and a 12v fridge with freezer compartment. The worktops are 40mm thick solid Ash. The kitchen units are modern IKEA units finished in a tasteful grey. There’s a corner carousel unit, four large under counter drawers with drawers within drawers. The unit under the stainless steel sink with 3 way tap has space for the bins and cleaning products and also houses the 0.05 micron filter which feeds the third outlet on the 3 way tap. This is the final filter in the 10 stage WaterFreedom water purification system which takes canal/river water and purifies it to drinking water standards.
The ceiling in the main living area (and throughout the boat) is white painted tongue and groove which is timber and NOT the hideous MDF fake tongue and groove panels fitted by most boat builders.
A 2 x 1 metre skylight floods the living area with natural light. The skylight is a “walk on” version made from 4 layers of toughened glass with thermal insulation properties equivalent to brick cavity wall.
The floor in the living area and throughout the boat apart from the bathroom is a beautiful high quality Ash floor with 18mm of foil bubble insulation beneath.
Every window throughout the boat (and the double bow doors) are fitted with sliding shutters which run behind the cabin linings on high quality Hafele runners. The shutters provide excellent security, insulation and also also enable you have properly dark bedrooms.
There are twelve 12v LED down lighters set in the ceiling and two touch control 12v LED lights on the underside of the kitchen wall units.
A Sony Bluetooth stereo is set into the wall allowing you to stream your music from your smartphone/tablet. Next to the stereo is a Blink home security system which will capture and send an image of anyone that enters the boat while the system is armed.
Additionally, there are twelve USB charging points throughout the boat allowing you to charge phones, tablets and other devices.
Moving into the corridor, there are two wardrobes and in between a long desk with two separate working areas to create a home office. There are also six deep drawers providing extra useful storage.
On the other side of the corridor is the second bedroom with large double sliding cavity doors enabling the room to be completely opened to create a sensation of space. The second bedroom has been imaginatively designed to create flexible space. The single bed on the right hand side of the room (housing the 400 litre holding tank beneath) can quickly be extended into a double bed, whilst on the left hand side of the room, a second single folds away into the wall. This arrangement means the room can be arranged with one single bed, two single beds or a double bed.
Next room along the corridor is the bathroom with slate floor, a good size shower cubicle with a hand-held attachment and an overhead “rainfall” outlet and thermostatic mixer. There’s a modern countertop sink with mixer tap and a macerator toilet. Birch cabinets provide storage for cleaning products, spare toilet rolls etc.
At the end of the corridor is the large main bedroom with two large wardrobes either side of the double bow doors which also has a large shutter on Hafele runners. The steel chequer plate steps in between the wardrobes can be arranged as shelves or steps out onto the bow deck.
In addition to the Morso Squirrel multi fuel stove in the main living area, a Webasto heater supplies heat to the six radiators throughout the boat. The combination of central heating and stove together with shutters on every window, thermally insulated skylight and underfloor insulation mean that you won’t ever be cold on this boat.
The stern deck is the square Eurocruiser style with seating/lockers inside the wrap around stern. An additional locker provides storage for two 13kg gas bottles.
The bow deck has lockers/seating on either side plus a large extra locker in the bow.
The boat is finished in RAL 5008 (grey blue) Craftmaster marine enamel. The cabin sides were re-painted in 2018 and the roof and stern deck will be professionally repainted prior to sale.
The boat was blacked at Uxbridge boat centre in April 2018 with Coflex blacking which has a 5 year lifecycle.
