This is a very hard decision, but as I become a first-time dad, I’ve decided to let my beloved boat, Phillippa of Amberley, go. I’ve owned her for three years, putting in a substantial amount of hours and money. She’s a boat you could walk straight onto, turn the engine on, put the sails up, and sail into the distance without worry. The Colvic Countess is a solid fiberglass-encapsulated bilge keel boat, and this one isn’t one to miss. She’s small enough to sail into shallow areas, yet spacious enough to sleep 5-6 people comfortably. This model features the highly sought-after U-shaped seating in the main cabin, with a table that drops down to create a double bed.
I realised I don’t want her sitting on the hard for a couple of years. I would much rather let someone else enjoy her and keep her in good condition, sailing her as she should be. This boat sails well in both calm and rough conditions; as I like to say, Old Phil moves through waves like a tank, making you feel safe at the helm.

As you can see, a lot has been done over the last three years to maintain and upgrade the boat. I have all receipts and paperwork from when it was originally built, as well as documentation for all the work done since.
I am open to offers but please, nothing unreasonable. I would also consider a deal if the Axiom system is not needed with the boat.
Thank you for your interest in Phillippa of Amberley!
