Due to a recent serious spinal operation I have to sell my lovely Colvic Watson. BMC 34 hp engine. Sails just Valeted, Excellent interior. Bunks just professionally cleaned and superb dark blue velour. Recent main and fore cabin re-upholster. New 9 months ago fitted rear wheelhouse / cockpit cover. Engine professionally serviced 3 or so hours ago. Professionally rewired 2024. All windows taken out taken apart and re-sealed. As new Avon Redstart inflatable (only unwrapped last year from new) - really lightweight. (I was a boat builder). Just before my operation she was taken out and anti-foul removed and we identified a minor gel issue. Professional advice was that the gel had air in it (over mixing). There are no blisters though. I was advised to prime, re-antifoul and go sailing and (if I really wanted to) take her out at season end and let her dry out do the same procedure at start of season but gel shield (when dry) and fair. Not perfect but then not a new boat. However everything else is up together and she can be used straight away and was built when thickness was strength. This is a hefty seaworthy design of great pedigree with a great following. In my health situation I cannot keep this boat so I am very very reluctantly open to offers over £5000. This boat sold on brokerage in 2019 for just under £19k and a good CW 23 sells for £11k. Mine has a dinghy worth £500. A cover that cost £845. A rewire, engine overhaul etc etc. She is in Emsworth Marina (least expensive and best on S.Coast IMHO) and I will negotiate on the berth until April 2026. Don't be put off by the low price - it is not a project! I have more photos than can be uploaded.
