Stainless steel tubing guard rails all round, with a gate to port and to starboard.
Some of the interior timberwork has suffered cosmetically from previous fresh water ingress. Some has been replaced.
None of it is structural. The exterior timberwork needs TLC.
The carpet lining has also suffered cosmetically. The upholstery is dated. The small patch of bubbles/blisters on the hull will need attention at some point in time.
After a sunny, solo, trouble-free, spring sail to Ireland and the Isle of Man, she is ready to go again - but my knees aren't!

Saloon with a well-fitted galley and a dinette table which can convert to a double berth.
Heads with new toilet and plumbing. Anti-syphon loops fitted to both inlet and outlet.
The pressurised water supply can be turned off when cruising to conserve water by using the footpumps (new 2024).
There is hanging space and storage for boots etc.
The forepeak is currently two single berths but could be made into a double by adding an infill.
There is a privacy curtain to separate the forepeak from the saloon.
Good standing headroom throughout.
These boats are solidly built, along the lines of a Scottish fishing vessel.
They handle heavy weather well, whilst keeping the crew warm and dry in the pilothouse.
The deep cockpit adds to safety. There is a set of cockpit cushions to enjoy the better weather.
Fittings are in place for beaching legs, but there are no legs with the boat.

Cobra 600 chartplotter, from 2006 but works fine. Complete with C-Map Mega Charts for the whole of the UK, not upto date but good enough.

I set the course manually on the Raymarine Autopilot but I understand it can be linked to a chartplotter to follow a programmed course.
Beta 50hp diesel engine with shaft drive.
Around 400 hours. Oil and filters changed only 45 hours running ago. In use, so these numbers may change.
Starts on the button and no problems at all, so far.
At 1800 revs, she'll easily do 5.5 to 6 knots or thereabouts, depending on the wind and seastate. There's lots of power in reserve for punching into big seas or tides.
Two stainless steel tanks of 130 litres each with separate fuel feeds, or can be combined. Each tank has a fuel level sight pipe attached. Enzyme additive has always been used to avoid any fuel bug problems.
The sails have had little use since new.
Mizzen standing rigging renewed in 2022 and the main standing rigging renewed in 2023.
