Turn key ready to use.
We have owned Spindrift for 10 years in SW France. She is the only 1 of 2 made able to tour the European canals and rivers as does NOT have the fly bridge. We have spent a wonderful time using her in such an idyllic area. Currently moored in a beautiful small marina with all facilities next to a village with shops at Buzet sur Baise. Half way between Bordeaux and Toulouse. You can access the River Dordogne, River Baise, Canal Garonne and Canal du Midi from here. Then onto the rest of the huge European waterway network. Plus the great advantage of using all of the Mediterranean Sea as well in the rare combination of a spacious river boat and an excellent sea boat. The previous owner, used to sail her from Cornwall to Bordeaux then cruise on the inland waterways here.
Spindrift is very easy to single hand. Will turn in her own length. Very responsive and relaxing to command. There is a removable, pedestal adjustable, helm seat.
Costs of mooring here will make your current UK prices look outrageous! Including modern toilets, showers, washing machines and tumble dryers, full service engineering workshop, slipway, very large and beautifully landscaped gardens with its own small vineyard and staffed Capitanery.
We pay £90 month including electric, water and wifi. It's even cheaper if you moor on opposite bank at £55 month.
Mooring can be transferred to new owner. Staff here are fluent English speaking and exceptionally helpful and willing to assist getting things done.
These Corvettes are a genuine Tardis. So much space for a 32ft boat. Ensuite shower toilet and sink in aft cabin with huge storage cupboards and large size double bed. Front cabin also ensuite toilet and sink with good size wardrobe and storage under sink and both large single berths which can sleep 2 each if very friendly!
