Faversham Kent UK
Deisgner Alan Hill, who had a penchant for robust, no-nonsense yachts, designed this 32ft centre boarder in 1978, with the East Coast in mind – she’s all about easy handling and comfortable family cruising.' That was the opinion of Yachting Monthly in 2009 and nothing has changed. Poltroon has those timeless qualities as well as the handy addition of a roller furling genoa as part of an upgrade from her original cutter rig. Add spacious accommodation in a hull that sails well with her keel up, while being equally suited to creek crawling or the open sea, and you have a winning formula in a well-cared for boat. Available for viewing now at Faversham.
She makes a very comfortable, reliable and versatile vessel, able to cope with longer sails in open water but also able to manoeuvre up shallow creeks.

Poltroon has the benefit of plenty of storage and seating so she is extremely comfortable.
The Saloon layout means that if someone is sleeping in the quarter berth, there is still privacy, which can be welcome when afloat for long periods.
She is designed with a centre plate which is discreetly hidden in the panaling of the gallery/saloon.
The fore cabin is a good size and can comfortably sleep someone who is 6ft 2, and there is storage under the beds.
The galley offers plenty of storage as well, so you can be well stocked up with supplies when underway.
The head is a basic yacht design.
