A unique opportunity to purchase a one twelfth share in a £325,000 replica dutch barge.
This gives the partner four weeks holiday a year, - two weeks in the high season and two weeks in the low season, based on a rota system.
Henrietta is currently based in Holland, having spent recent years on the French canals, but will be moving to Auxonne at the end of 2018. The mooring ports and proposed routes are agreed by members annually. There is a current quarterly charge of £280 to cover maintenance, mooring fees, insurance and expenses.
Henrietta is a 20m by 4.75m steel hulled replica Dutch Luxemotor, built in Belgium and fitted out by Euroships yard in Holland, completed and commissioned in 2008.
She is powered by a John Deere 175hp Diesel engine. A Kabola boiler provides hot water and central heating. There is a Beta Marine 7.7kva generator. She is fully equipped for extended cruises for six persons, with an additional double bed conversion in the wheel house if required.
The boat has both bow and stern thrusters for total manoeuvrability, together with fore and aft spud legs for mooring in shallow water.
The interior offers a spacious forward double cabin with en-suite bathroom and ample storage. There is an extensive saloon with armchairs and sofa, television, dining table and chairs, and fully equipped galley, two fridges, cooker, dishwasher and microwave. The wheelhouse is above the engine room and features a hydraulic lowering roof, there is a large table and adequate seating provided. The aft cabin also has en-suite facilities and ample storage. There is also a utility room with a washer/dryer.
On deck there is a seating area forward of the mast, and lounging areas on the saloon and aft cabin roofs
Despite her size Henrietta is extremely easy to manage, and is finished to a very high standard.
