A beautifully restored One off, Gaff Yawl, built by Everson & Sons of Woodbridge in 1959. She has undergone an extensive, professional refit over the last few years, including a new engine in 2022, new sails in 2014, new upholstery in 2022 and so much more. Full details on request. The accommodation offers up to four berths in two cabins. Double berth to port in forward cabin, storage under and heads (new) to starboard. Opening hatch to foredeck. Saloon with settee berths port and starboard, with stowage above and below. Mahogany table, with folding leaves to port and Taylors refurbished cabin heater. Four opening ports. Aft to starboard galley unit, with sink with H&C freshwater supply. Stowage above and below and opening port. Taylors Paraffin cooker opposite to port, with storage above and below and opening port. Wet locker aft to port with opening port. Navigation area opposite to starboard, with chart table and opening port. Steps up to cockpit, with seating and stowage under. Full interior lighting. New interior upholstery 2023.
Designed and built in 1959 by Everson & Sons Ltd of Woodbridge, with a Maurice Griffiths sail plan. Ivory painted mahogany hull on oak frames. Varnished coach roof and cockpit, with grey painted non-slip to decks, cabin top and cockpit floor. Long traditional iron keel. Tiller steering to keel hung rudder. Extensive work carried out at Larkman's of Woodbridge over the last few years. A 2022 survey is available to view.
