A robustly built GRP pocket cruiser certified to Offshore Category B from the same designers as the Fisher motorsailers. Yarmouth 23’s are capable boats with at least one Atlantic crossing (see references). The long keel 2.5 tonne hull gives a stable motion and I have thoroughly enjoyed day sailing her around the Falmouth/Helford area for the last 8 years with the occasional overnight up one of the creeks.
Charlotte Rose differs from most other Yarmouth 23’s because she has bilge plates (fitted by the original builder Yarmouth Marine Services) which allow her to take the ground easily and upright. She is also white (most are dark colours) and has circular (not oval) windows which I think looks better..
She is currently being prepared for the new season (including new standing rigging) and will move to a deep water mooring in Falmouth in April and I will continue to enjoy sailing her until she is sold.
Good documentation is available including the original purchase details/drawings
