This Boat is an extremely seaworthy yacht.
I sailed her south across the Bay of Biscay in 2010 and had a rough crossing to a Corunna , but had full confidence in the boat.
I based her in Galicia since then and really enjoyed her sailing abilities.
In 2015 I made a voyage down the Iberian peninsula all the way to Cadiz , stopping at many ports and harbours. I wintered the boat in Portimao— Algarve.
The following year I decided to sail the boat back to Galicia.
On the voyage I sailed it in 3 legs. Portimao to —- Lisbon, then Lisbon to Porto, and Porto to Villagarcia Galicia.
The leg from Lisbon to Porto was difficult. Forecast was F 4 to F6 SW. The wind actually reached F 9 with enormous seas
The boat handled the conditions without any problems.
She has been based in Ria de Arosa , Galicia since then.
This wonderful area is a joy to sail safely and comfortably. It is full of Rias ——- deep fjiords., with safe and cheap harbours/marinas.
Also there are many safe anchorages —- all free
