Tewkesbury Gloucestershire UK|
'Kizzie' has been my home for the past 18 months and would make a comfortable liveaboard for one or even a couple, as well as a perfect weekend retreat. She was built in 10/6/4 by Reeves in 1994 and fitted out by Bromsgrove Boats. Quality materials (koto T&G and mahogany trims) have been used throughout and she has a cosy, cottage-like, feel. She is powered by a reliable Beta 28 which had a full service in October 2019 along with 4 new engine mounts. A hull survey was carried out in September 2018 which she passed with flying colours and the hull was blacked at the same time. A copy is available for prospective buyers to view. The boat is currently moored in Tewkesbury, where a mooring may be available should the new owners wish to keep her there. She has a current Avon license valid until December 31st 2020 which will be transferred with the boat. BSC until December 2021.
Forward of the deck board is a gas locker containing 1x 13kg propane and 1x 6kg propane, though there is room for 2x 13kg bottles. Entering the cratch, there is a 4ft well deck with storage lockers/seats either side and underneath, a large 200 gallon (approx) integral water tank.
The saloon contains an L-shaped dinette (can be made into a 6' x 3'11'' double) with storage under, a Villager Puffin solid fuel stove with back boiler to 3 radiators and a 240v TV.
The U-shaped galley has ample storage, a Vanette 4-burner hob with separate grill and domestic-size oven, a 12 volt fridge with small freezer box and a new stainless steel sink.
Next is the heads which houses a shower, wash basin set into a vanity unit and a free-standing Thetford chemical toilet, followed by a wardrobe with drawers and an Alde gas boiler which heats the water along with the engine, and can also be used to heat the radiators. I also have a complete spare Alde boiler which I can include in the sale.
The bedroom has a 6'3'' x 4' double bed with cupboards over and drawers under and another wardrobe which contains the electrical switches and RCD. Under the bed is a 16 gallon (approx) calorifier, heated by the Alde and engine.
The boat, although only 36ft, seems much bigger and has been cleverly designed to make use of the space. The end of the bed lifts up to allow easy access to the engine belts without having to lift up the rear boards. To gain access to the engine bay fully, the aft bulkhead can be taken apart which makes it really easy to perform maintenance. The stern deck has an access hatch for the weed hatch and stern greaser.
