Horizon Craft 35 – 35ft Forward-Drive Single-Level Broads Cruiser
Designed by John Bennett, the Horizon 35 was built by Horizon Craft and originally operated through the renowned Richardsons yard — opportunities to own a vessel of this calibre are incredibly rare. Southern Horizon is a classic, beautifully preserved GRP cruiser that has been meticulously transformed from the hull up into a high-specification contemporary floating home. At 35ft with a generous 12ft beam, forward cockpit and bow well plus stern well, she offers a completely different living experience to a narrowboat, delivering an open, bright and spacious studio-apartment layout all on one level. She has been professionally finished with bespoke curved woodwork, premium details and high-end modern appliances throughout — simply move in, unpack and enjoy.
Step inside to a stunning bespoke open-plan living area designed with sweeping custom curves and natural wood finishes, complemented by custom roller blinds fitted throughout for instant privacy and light control, plus mirror-film window tinting that maintains excellent visibility from within while offering full privacy from outside. Entertainment is ready to go with a 43-inch smart TV already mounted and wired into its own dedicated inverter and leisure battery system. Warmth is assured with a top-of-the-range, 4.5kW Salamander Hobbit wood-burning stove that heats the entire boat to a cosy temperature in just five minutes, while comprehensive insulation using 12mm foil-backed foam together with sprayed foam to underfloor, walls and ceiling keeps the space comfortable year-round.
The gourmet galley features extensive brand-new worktops, exceptional storage, a brand-new Hotpoint LPG cooker and a high-efficiency fridge. The fully modernised luxury bathroom includes a new electric-flush toilet and shower. The private master cabin is located aft, offering a peaceful dedicated bedroom space finished in warm natural wood. Hot water is supplied by a brand-new storage tank, heated either by the engine or immersion heater. Power is plentiful and reliable: three high-capacity leisure batteries plus one brand-new spare, a dedicated engine starter battery topped up by solar panel, automatic charging via the engine alternator when running or by portable generator, and six double-gang wall sockets each fitted with twin USB ports so you can charge devices seamlessly without adapters. A premium Champion Mighty Atom generator is included, lightweight and delivering 2200W of instant power wherever you are.
Externally she is in excellent condition for her vintage, having been fully painted and anti-fouled two years ago, with all wooden and metal bump strips freshly painted just last week. A versatile retractable sunroof provides open-air enjoyment on fine days and full protection when closed. Her Boat Safety Certificate has just been completed and expires in August 2030. Built in 1980 with a BMC 1.5 diesel engine delivering 36hp through shaft drive, she draws just 2ft with bridge clearance of 6ft, displaces 6 tonnes and carries 150 litres fuel, 220 litres water and a 120-litre holding tank, offering comfortable accommodation for three.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
