Description

"Ava Rose" is a fully converted Oil Rig Lifeboat.

The Survival Craft SC80F with a 30hp Yanmar engine was converted in 2018 and has been run as successful AirBnb Business on the Forth & Clyde Canal on a commercial mooring and commercial boat safety certificate. The pod was converted as a business with the thought of "non-boaters" stay, so has been converted with the highest spec materials and made to be as homely as possible. With "staycations" becoming more popular the pod has been fantastically busy, charging between £86-£120 per night. In a more central location this could be much more. This could offer a fantastic second income or be a wonderful live aboard.

The bathroom has a drop down sink, shower, and Jabsco ceramic deluxe quiet flush toilet.

Living room:
Open plan living space, with plenty of space to stand up and walk around in. Also space for a dropleaf table, 2 chairs. 3kw Wood burning stove with back boiler. Produces more than enough heat even when the canal has frozen over.

Windows:
Double glazed windows with customer SS shrouds.

Bed:
The large bed is custom superking bed.

Hot Water:
100L twin coil calorifier with 1.5kw element.
