Rita Rose was built as a Sailaway in 2017, and completely fitted out by the owners to enjoy home life and holidays cruising.

This widebeam has a very sought after riverside mooring, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and just a short walk to Keynsham town. Keynsham is half way between Bristol and Bath, and is easily accessible using either the bus routes, train line, or A4 road. Keynsham is home to Memorial Park, a mere 5 minutes walk away connecting to the river Chew. There are a variety of pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and local shops.
The mooring is connected to the Aquavista Marina in Keynsham, which can be transferred to the new owners, subject to contract.

The Bathroom has a large shower, vanity unit and compost toilet.
There is an additional room, which is currently used as a storage / utility room housing the washing machine. This room has the potential of being used as a 2nd single bedroom.
Large open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, living room area, enjoying a Yeoman Exe single door 7KW multi fuel wood burner. Entertainment system unit and TV mounted on the wall. The kitchen has a Rangemaster Kitchener 90 LPG 5 gas burner hob, electric oven, gas oven and gas grill. The kitchen has ample storage space, and a ceramic sink with a drainer.

Construction

Rita Rose was built by The Sail Away Boat Company at the end of 2016, and launched February 2017. Made with 10mm base, 6mm hull, 5mm cabin, 4mm roof. 43a grade steel.

Equipment

The boat is fitted with a 1091L cold water tank, situated below the front deck. The hot water tank is a 120L (which can expand to 150L, using cold water) Shure Cal Calorifier, situated in the engine room at the rear of the boat. There are three ways to heat the water, using the twin coils - 1 coil to the engine, and 1 coil to the Webasto boiler, and lastly using the shore powered immersion heater.
There is a water filter system fitted in the engine room which provides drinking water.
The 5.2Kw Webasto Boiler feeds 5 radiators on the boat which provides background heating.
There is a 12v Vetus 95kgf Bow Thruster (Bow 9512d), capable of producing 214lbf of thrust. This is powered by 2 x AGM batteries at 220 amps, making 440 amps which also has a 300w solar panel and a 20 amp Epever charge controller. The system also provides 12v electrics for the bedroom.

Engine(s)

The boat is powered by a Barrus Shire engine (made by Yanmer), fitted during boat build. The engine is 65hp, which has run for approximately 300 hours and has been serviced twice. The engine is connected to a Centa Flex drive system (hydraulic gearbox). The fuel tank is 545L, which has been treated from new with Marine 16.
