Premier Houseboats are pleased to present Lune, a recently converted static houseboat offering space, character and everything you would want as an affordable family home.
Lune has been converted over three levels to create a beautiful and spacious family home that also makes the most of the external space so you can enjoy some stunning views. She has excellent width for her length, and the conversion has made full use of this extra space.
As you enter Lune you are immediately struck buy a sense or warmth, light and space. The main level has a porch, toilet/utility room, and a large open plan kitchen diner that could also be a lounge area. The kitchen is professionally fitted with solid oak units and excellent storage and work space, as well as a fitted oven and hob. The focal point of the dining/lounge area is the large wood burning stove, which as well as producing a tremendous amount of heat, can also be used for cooking. Doors lead out to a nice sized terrace.
A spiral staircase leads up to another large lounge area, with double doors one end leading to a second enclosed terrace area, and a door the other end leading to a smaller terrace.
Stairs from the main level lead to the lower level, currently laid out to provide two large double bedrooms, a smaller double bedroom, and a family bathroom with toilet, shower cubicle, bath and hand basin. Both swim ends have been fitted out to provide excellent storage facilities.
The boat has been fully insulated, indeed there is a photographic record of all work done from the very beginning of the conversion.
The boat is has diesel fired central heating throughout, is full double glazed, and low maintenance flooring throughout. Externally there is weather resistant cladding for low maintenance and extra insulation.
Overall, the boat offers light, space and comfort. Beautifully decorated in a way that feels extremely homely, she makes the most of the space available both internally and externally, and is a wonderful example of a well thought out, well fitted houseboat.
