Hampton Court Surrey UK [View Map] |
Mooring Location: The boat is permanently moored on a beautiful private island located 5 minutes walk from
Hampton Court station. It is only a 35 minute train journey to central London. The island has a wonderful
community spirit with stunning river views of Hampton Court and the surrounding area. The island provides a
perfect setting for river living – it is equipped post boxes, laundry room, washing lines, fresh water supply and
electric point for each mooring. This is a highly sought after location and is an idyllic place to live year round.
A fresh out of water survey was completed in June 2025. Some work is required hence low price. She was also valued off mooring at £20,000 in current condition so basically the mooring is £3,950 instead of its actual value £10-15,000
Interior: There are 2 separate cabins one forward and one aft which have small steps up to the wheelhouse/living room. The Aft cabin features a full size double bed and shelves. There is a roof hatch for star gazing in the summer.
The wheelhouse has a double sofa bed, loads of cupboard space, fast wifi, BT landline with
and flat screen TV. There is also a large sliding roof hatch which is useful for getting large furniture/appliances in/out and also for extra light and ventilation.
Step down to the galley kitchen which has a stainless steel sink, standard size fridge, microwave, air fryer. large cupboards and an electric 2 ring hob. There is shelf with kettle and toaster so its a well equipped kitchen for a boat of this size.
Opposite is the bathroom with small sink and chemical toilet which is enclosed in hard wearing jungle style laminate (as is most of the bathroom) A full size shower tray and excellent water pressure with hot water from the emersion heater makes for a great shower!
The front cabin is currently used for storage but has the potential to provide another 2 berths. A glass hatch is in the front cabin which provides extra light and ventilation when needed.
There is currently no wood burner but there is plenty of room should you wish to install one. Heating is from oil filled radiators which work perfectly well even in low temperatures.
Exterior: New paint Spring 2025, with an aft deck large enough for a table and 4 chairs the outside space on this boat sets it apart from most other types. There are steps down to the river for swimming access in the summer months.
The front deck has a space for a chair and the roof can also be used for additional seating.
Internal Diesel Engine: 2 ltr Fiat diesel engine which currently doesn’t run but has full potential to with a little TLC. Also fitted with bow thrusters which is very unusual for a boat this length
The current mooring rates are as follows:
Paid quarterly : Approx £550 per month / £1,650 per quarter
Water charge: £30.00 per quarter. The weir access charge is currently under review by the EA.
Please note cats/dogs are not permitted on these moorings
