Description

Sunset Song is a very spacious, 4 berth 58ft x 6ft 10” narrowboat, built by Liverpool Boats in 2003. Fitted out to exceptional detail – the original owner being a professional joiner – she was surveyed in June 2023 (showing the hull in excellent condition - get in touch if you would like to view), when it was also blacked and fitted with 8 new anodes. The engine is a very reliable Isuzu 38hp inboard diesel, which is booked in to be serviced by Dave Taylor in November 2023.

She has been fitted with a new, unused Hamlet Compact S fuel stove, a Victron Phoenix 1200w inverter, a Thetford Cassette toilet and Sureflo water pump, all of which were professionally installed in 2023. There are also four domestic batteries as well as three solar panels with MPPT controller.

The windows are all portholes, providing more privacy and security, and there are starboard side doors in the galley, which also function as closing, double-glazed windows. Flooring is carpet in the bedroom and solid oak flooring from the galley to the bow doors.

The galley is equipped with a 230v refrigerator, microwave, as well as a 4-burner gas cooker with grill and two ovens. The dining area comes with two solid redwood pine tables, catering for 2 or 4+ persons. Outside there are seats/ storage compartments at the bow, as well as a gas locker for two 13kg gas bottles – the bow is also fitted with a cratch cover and removable frame.

Sunset Song is being sold as is, with all furnishings, appliances and kitchenware included if desired, and will come with everything you need to start life on the water – mooring pins, lines, lump hammers, gas bottles, oil, fuel filters etc. There is also an extensive ownership and maintenance history, and all paperwork for recent improvements and work carried out can be provided upon viewing.
