Designed by SJ Roy, she is hull number 5 of only 12 in this class. Built by Macwester Marine of Littlehampton in 1972. Strong, sturdy, safe and fast, and renowned for sea-going qualities under sail or power. First registered in 1973 with 2 previous UK owners. This owner (from 1992) undertook a 3 year extensive refit (almost rebuild) from bare hull up, to RYA training standards.
4 stainless steel fuel tanks, custom-made (one wing, one sadlle tank per engine). Total fuel capacity of approx 410 litres.

Good and reliable motoring with Twin 32hp Thornycroft (Mitsubishi-based) 4 cylinder diesels, with indirect cooling and 670 hours on both.
Shaft drive via hydraulic gearboxes to 3 bladed fixed propellers.
New exhaust non-return valves fitted to both motors in 2018.
Starbooard engine ntotally rebuilt in 2018 and has 5 hours running since rebuild.
Port engine fitted with new heat exchanger in 2019, and has Calorifier connected to supply domestic hot water.
Each engine has one main and one domestic battery charged by the engine alternator, plus each has solar panel charging. Isolator switches allow individual battery use or interconnection of all 4 batteries.
Both engines regularly maintained and serviced.
