Built in 2003 by Colin Hurst (Dursley and Hurst), Meander is a 57ft 2in traditional narrowboat. The shell is from renowned builder Mike Christian, featuring a Josher style bow with replica rivets.
Designed for comfortable cruising and extended stays aboard, the interior offers a practical and welcoming layout.
A Pullman dinette and a single sofa bed provide flexible guest accommodation, while the main bedroom benefits from a double bed extending to an impressive 6ft wide, complemented by two wardrobes and generous storage throughout.
The shower room is fitted with a pump out toilet, washbasin vanity unit and a shower cubicle.
Central heating is by an Alde Compact gas boiler feeding four radiators, alongside a solid fuel stove in the saloon.
Hot water is supplied via the engine or boiler.
Propulsion comes from a Beta 38hp diesel engine, with a PRM 120 mechanical gearbox and an Aquadrive coupling, helping to reduce noise and vibration when underway.
The exterior benefited from a professional re-paint in 2022 and is still gleaming today, and she was blacked in August 2025.
