“The Boat” is a modern day classic of the Edwardian open launch. 29ft 6 ins long in Glassfibre with decks, internals and engine box In varnished timber. Powered by a 4 cyl Vedette petrol engine. This craft was taken from a mould from a 1911 launch.
The entire craft has easily removable canopies, side screens deck and engine covering.
The engine has just had its annual service. The prop shaft bearings changed and some recent new covers.
Seating is a stern bench, a prow curved bench plus wicker chairs and a removable table.
Current boat licence, boat safety cert till 2022. Masses of documentary paperwork etc.
Cheap to maintain, cheap to run, great fun & very elegant.
Can be seen on the Thames.near Oxford.

Front curved bench seat & rear bench seat all upholstered plus wicker seats & table.
Beautiful glass fibre strong hull with internal powerpoints and ribbing.
Decks, and internal fit in quality timber varnished. Flat cockpit deck throughout. Discreet hatches for battery and other stowage.
Under lift out rear seat is access to weed hatch.
Vertical stainless steel tube poles hold stainless cross members on which is the green canvas canopy. The frame also supports the roll up side panels plus fore & aft ones.
Can cruise with all panels closed in inclement weather.
Usual warps, anchor, backside mooring stakes. Green fenders, horn, nav lights, two fire extinguishers, fire blanket, cushions, boat hook, fuel dip stick.
As well as an instrument panel with fuel gauge, oil press, water temp, battery, electric cutout & ignition key.
Morris Vedette 4 cyl petrol in varnished dog box which unlatched for free service access.
Engine serviced on a regular basis, last one June 2020.
Drives through standard fwd / neutral / reverse gearbox to prop shaft.
Fire extinguishers plus fire blanket
