A large rare beautiful immaculate mahogany and oak clinker, launch built in 1958 near Bath (Somerset, England) by T.Newman.
Restored in 2008 at Stanley&Thomas boatyard by Julian Perry, master wooden boat builder.
The length of the boat is 7m (22 foot) and the beam is approximately 2.2m.(7 foot)
Main mean brackets are cast bronze, all other fittings are brass.
The roof of the canopy and sides are principally made of UPVC. The supporting uprights are stainless steel.
The craft is powered by electrics via a 3Kw motor and lead acid battery bank – with controls/Electronics/batteries all new.
Approx cruising time 6 to 8 hours, 4 to 5 knots cruising speed, 48v system.
This is a craft for leisurely cruising in peace and quiet without fumes, except from other vessels. Enjoy the sound of birds and see animals caught by surprise at your presence.
Boat presently mored on the Thames at Romney Lock, Windsor. Boat is dry docked and is in immaculate condition.
