Description
Due to a permanent international move, I must part with my beloved Dutch Barge, Emma.
Dimensions: 13.57m long (44.5ft), 3.05m wide (10ft)
Emma was transported from the Netherlands to the UK in 2012 and has been refitted whilst keeping her traditional 1930s charm.
You are first welcomed into the wheelhouse which includes an in-built storage bench and removable desk. To the rear, there is a bed cabin with the option to have two single beds or a large double. A companion way toward the bow has an enclosed bathroom with a shower, towel heater, toilet, and sink vanity. There is also a ceramic butler sink with ample space for washing up duties. We then open into the main room which contains a galley, living space, and lastly a double bed.
Emma is suitable for both off and on-grid living, we have relied on solar power for most of the year.
The interior focuses on natural and rustic materials, she has been a wonderful home to me.
