Ex Environment Agency Work Boat Inland Waterways
Commissioned, designed and built for the (British) Environment Agency for carrying out Weir and Lock work on the River Thames, and was in use up until very recently. (The reason it was sold was due to the E A contracting out their work) The boat is in excellent working condition, having been maintained by Kings Marine and supported by the 2020 Hull and Condition Survey Report.
This boat is perfect for work on Inland Waterways.

HULL STRUCTURE:

All welded steel hull with hard chines, rounded bow swim and square swim end built with butt joint shell plating on L-section frames.

ANCHOR:
Danforth type Anchor of 30kg weight, stowed loosely on deck. The anchor is connected to a length of adequately sized galvanised round link chain and onto a length of adequately sized anchor warp, all stowed loosely in the bilge. The anchor is manually controlled.
LPG SYSTEM:
It has a LPG System onboard for carrying out work using equipment that uses LPG. This system was decommissioned, but can be reconnected. The pipes, LPG tank and filler cap are all still in place.
Has two batteries in Engine Room which serve the two Vetus engines and the Hatz donkey engine.
Has two batteries which serve interior lighting, exterior signal lights.
OTHER INFO:
Wood burner fitted and carbon monoxide detector fitted.
Fire safety tool storage box.
Wood storage box.
Storage Boxes on outside of Boat
Safety Tiller, which can be attached in emergency for emergency steering.
Racking and work bench fitted.
Roof above work shop can be removed at the rear next to engine room.
Roof in engine room above both engines can be removed for hoisting engines.
Last survey and BSS was in 2020, both these reports can be sent to potential buyers on request.
I have the service history dating back to 2004, it is basic showing dates and brief description of works and services carried out through the years.
Prior to 2004 it was serviced by the Environment Agency in house.
Areas I believe need attention:
The Batteries for the engines need replacing.
The external wood burner flue needs replacing due to holes
The deck and exterior cabin need repainting

Service History, Latest Survey, Latest BSS Report, Operators Manual, Equipment Manuals will be provided with sale.
The Boat is moored on the Thames in Middlesex.

On the deck level you have the helm. Then you go down some steps into the front half of the cabin you have a wood burner, cupboards and seats. In the back of the cabin you have a heavy duty metal workbench and racking around and behind it. Past the cabin you have a hatch door which leads into the engine room, which then has a hatch which leads out onto the deck at the stern of the boat. Underneath the helm and the bow of the boat there is a large storage space underneath, accessible from the inside of the cabin.
