Alexander No2 is an exceptional narrowboat with shell and superstructure built by Graham Edgson at Norton Canes and a quality fitout by Blue Haven.
Entering the saloon through the glazed stable doors it is hard not to be impressed by the quality of the wood work in the finish and detail. There are a number of cupboards as well as shelving under the gunwales a feature throughout the boat. A Morso stove is to one side of the bow doors. A 2 seater pullmans will also provide a full size cross bed.
The galley again typifies the quality of the boat with a range of cupboards and drawer units.

Hydrus was built in 1935 for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Co. Ltd by Harland and Wolff in Woolwich, with fleet number 52B (later changed to 293).
