Description

Wright Away is a 50 foot all steel narrow boat, built and fitted out by her original owner (Stuart Wright) in 2003. This boat benefits from being gas-free. She is powered by a Gardner 3LW with PRM gearbox which is the centre piece of this boat and is admired by everyone that passes by. From entering at the rear is a compact Boatman’s cabin with solid fuel stove, storage cupboard and bench seating opposite. Following this you step into the engine room where easy access can be gained around the engine. Next comes the spacious bedroom with fixed double bed with plenty of storage provided by means of wardrobe, over head cupboards and under the bed. Next is the walk-through bathroom with full sized shower, wash basin, towel rail and toilet. Forward of this is the fully fitted galley with Belfast sink, fridge and diesel hob and separate oven. At the front of the cabin is the saloon with two easy chairs, diesel stove and TV cabinet. Wright Away benefits from having central heating throughout and a cratch and cover over the forward well deck. Boat Safety Certificate until February 2027. This is an ideal boat for a couple to enjoy our canal system whilst being Gardner powered!
