| Reference: | Caliburnum |
A fine 70ft traditional narrowboat, the hull being originally comissioned by the owners of Merlin Narrowboats (Braunston) in 2005 and fitted by themselves to an exacting standard for their own use as a comfortable liveaboard. The Gardner 2LW engine is one of approximately 30 built by Gardner throughout the 1990s and was removed from their previous boat and installed in the dedicated engine room. "Caliburnum" features many extras rarely found on boats built today - the hull, for example, has a chined 15mm baseplate making for better handling and easier mooring on the shallower canals. The current owner has fastidiously maintained the boat in excellent condition including a full professional repaint by Andy Russell and now presents her for sale in fine condition even including a full tank of diesel.
