Description

Anna is a 45ft x 6ft10 Narrowboat currently based in London, built in 1973, one of a kind built by Thornley & Russell. I bought her from her previous owners in 2019 who totally renovated her with ‘no expense spared’ a few years before selling to myself.

She’s been extended and over plated prior to me buying the boat, one survey just after the work was completed specifying it was done to a very ‘high quality’ in 2014 and the lasted survey in 2023 came back excellent with no work required.

Blacking -
Since having the boat I had in blacked in P&S Marine in 2023 and recently 06/2025. Intended on having a full survey but my surveyor said it wasn’t necessary as previous is up to date, so opted for an in water evaluation instead for insurance purposes.

Pass, valid until 26/05/2026

Solar -
2x 400w array (which can pivot 45 degrees to face to sun in winter) with Victron smart 100/50 controller, bluetooth battery monitor (can check % of batts via phone) 2x 100ah lithium batteries all professionally fitted in 2022 by PRO Electrical. (Started batt purchased in 2021) There is also a charger for when you’re ever on a hook up (marina). 1200 Victron inverter.

Engine -
The engine is a bullet proof BMC 1.5, Glow plugs and starter motor changed in 2023, and reg maintained and starts every time.

Heating -
Hot water is heated via the engine via calorifier. It also has an immersion heater which is ideal if on elec hook up/getting lots of solar. The multi fuel heats the boat perfectly and the boat is foam insulated throughout.

Interior -
The boat has oak paneling throughout, with under gunnel lighting. Plenty of USB ports dotted about and all lights are LED/12v. Fridge is 240v but I keep the inverter on all year round with no issues. Gas LPG cooker with 4x hobs, oven & grill. Decent amount of 13amp sockets, good size kitchen with corian work tops, side hatch with steps, good size sink with mixer tap.

Toilet -
Boats fitted with a Thetfod cassette toilet, (has spare cassette with new toilet seat) a generous sized shower with stainless steel base & sink in storage unit. Whale gulper water pump in the shower. Bathroom has skylight making it light but still private.

Bedroom -
Raised double bed for storage, fitted with oak shelves and small wardrobe with plugs dotted around and voltage metre.

She’s a really lovely boat, everyone comments on how nice it looks inside. Anna will come with everything needed to live on board straight away and float about. Happy to send videos, and help with anymore information needed.

Im in no real rush to sell, and would love to the new owners to enjoy her as much as I have! All work has been carried out professionally and the boat has been independently valued by surveyor. Im open to reasonable offers.
