'BEAR' HISTORY
'Erotic Bear' is a Stephen Jones 3/4 tonner cruiser/racer with a history. She was one of the series of ‘Bears' successfully owned and sailed by Kit Hobday, she came after 'Geriatric Bear', and before 'Independent Bear'. From 1997 to 2006 she was stored ashore. One f her previous owners rebuilt and refurbished her during 2008-2010 with many new improvements. This work was carried out in a boat shed, so she was once again protected from the weather. From a July 2013 survey: " the gelcoat and laminate are considered to be in a very good structural condition for a vessel of this age A further survey was completed in 2020. Since being rebuilt she has been cruised on the East Coast and to Holland and lightly raced.
