THOMAS THE RYMER 39ft 10in Semi-trad with 4 berths
Pat Buckle is renowned for having built a vast quantity of narrowboats, many of which purposely-built for hire boat purposes (through not in this case), building basic but sturdy narrowboats that above all offer great value for money.
Despite her age she is still smart inside, although the external paintwork in need of some TLC. The fit out is a timeless mix of oak panels and parana pine tongue & groove with bench seats either end of the cabin, which make into two double beds.
Thomas the Rhymer is a basic, unpretentious boat and possibly all the better for it (less things to go wrong) but has everything on board needed to make the most of what the waterways have to offer and provides an opportunity to start a lifetime of holidays afloat without breaking the bank.
