A 2000 build, Pinder Dutch Barge, 57' x 13.5'
Papillon is spacious liveaboard, with two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. The wheelhouse is double glazed and contains a large, comfortable seating area for cruising and a captain's chair. There are also several storage cupboards and units in the wheelhouse, handy for shoes, life jackets, and general boating paraphernalia. Steering is via a wheel, powered by a 120hp Ford engine. There is also a NAVMAN radio, plus a screen connected to four external cameras for easier navigation. For added security and to keep the boat toasty in winter, a hatch has been fitted to the top of the stairs, leading down into the boat. Entering from the wheelhouse you come to a fully fitted kitchen, with gas cooker and integrated fridge with a freezer compartment. The large living room has two sofas, one of which converts to a comfortable double bed, and a multi-fuel burner. The master bedroom has a fitted double bed with storage underneath, and there is also ample clothes hanging storage and a single wardrobe with shelving. The ensuite to the master bedroom is newly fitted (April '25) with a sink/vanity unit, quadrant shower and a cassette toilet, with a porcelain bowl. There is also a cleverly hidden, spacious storage cupboard in the bathroom. The back bedroom is currently being used as an office, but will easily accommodate a single bed or double sofa bed. The second ensuite contains a sink/vanity unit, a square shower cubicle and a cassette toilet. Housed in the large storage area in the back bedroom is a washing machine. The windows throughout the boat are double glazed, keeping the warmth in and remaining free of condensation. Outside there is a spacious fore deck, perfect for sundowners, and an extremely large storage area in the forepeak. The aft deck currently houses space for a generator.
