The Golant Gaffer is a traditionally styled small cruising design with overnight accommodation. The gaff cutter rig is versatile and easily handled and the long keeled configuration make the boat seaworthy and sea kindly. 17ft Small classic gaff sloop built 1920 - 30s A Carvel wooden hull of larch on oak. The vessel underwent a full restoration in 2002 -06, restored back to sailing condition. Tilly is a fine example of the classic Mk 1 Cornish Crabber lovingly maintained by its current owner. She has always been kept indoors for the winter and had a complete overhaul and update in 2021. These included a new engine, new sails, complete new electrics and new standing rigging.
