My first impressions of this Sea Dog 30 ketch were just how sturdy and well equipped she is - she's also very easy on the eye! Stepping on board and making one's way to the cockpit, I could see how safe and secure I'd feel during a blow - nice high bulkheads and a hard screen - I'd feel just as safe down below too - plenty of room, a conventional layout and all feeling very stout indeed. The Seadog 30 is a renowned centre cockpit cruising yacht with 140 examples being built between 1964 and 1974. They were designed and fitted out by Reg Freeman yachts with the hulls laid up by Kemp and Pitt Ltd in Southampton.
