Holker Street is a steel-built residential houseboat constructed by SW Durham Steelcraft Ltd. Measuring approximately 14.6m (48ft) in length with a beam of 3.5m (11.5ft), the vessel is built with a welded mild steel hull, deck and superstructure, providing a robust and durable floating home suitable for sheltered and protected waters.
An independent hull survey was completed in November 2025 by a qualified Marine Surveyor and Naval Architect. The survey found the hull and deck structure to be in a condition suitable for their intended protected water service. Hull thickness measurements were reported within acceptable limits, side shell plating was found to be in good condition, and the vessel's cathodic protection anodes showed only minimal wear.
The vessel benefits from shore power and water connections and has undergone refurbishment to provide comfortable residential accommodation.
