Beautiful Yacht designed by Jason Kerr, one of only four prototypes built for the more famous Southerly 49 ( Distant Shores Two ) and destined to become a classic.
This Yacht has an extensive international & British cruising record with two owners until now. She is well maintained & moored at present on the East Coast where her minimal draft with her keel up is very useful. When dropped the keel is deep & affords an outstanding upwind performance for a comfortable well equipped cruising boat.

Hull structure uses the Nordseal system, with sandwich construction topsides ( PVC foam ) & a single skin bottom stiffened by foam cored transverse floors & bilge stringer. Bi-axial reinforcements are used with local application of uni-directionals. The resin is predominantly DCPD.
The keel trunk is an integral part of the hull structure. Bulkheads are lightweight foam cored & bonded to the hull.
Foam cores are vacuum bagged to ensure the integrity of the sandwich construction.
Deck:- Delta anchor 30 m chain, 50 m warp. Kedge Fisherman. Windlass Lewmar V3 Electric. Lifeline gates.
Winches Lewmar types 54, 46 ( powered ) 44. All sheets & regular haliards led to clutches in cockpit. Selden jib furler to powered winch. Fenders & boathooks ( 3 including ring catcher). Long handled scrubbing brush, deck brushes, buckets & cleaning equipment.
